This Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, we want to understand how we can better support Asian American students in Tennessee. Join EdTrust – Tennessee to learn more about Asian American students in our state, current issues impacting their success in the classroom and opportunities for education advocates and policymakers to ensure they are thriving in our state. 

Our featured speaker is Dr. OiYan Poon, an educator, author, speaker, and race and education scholar. She is co-director of the College Admissions Futures Co-Laborative and Senior Research Fellow for Education Equity at the NAACP LDF Thurgood Marshall Institute.
