A special ceremony marked the completion of a years-long Bridges mentorship program for some students this summer. “Students aren’t next, they’re now. So we focus on really giving students the opportunity in working in partnership with them so they can use the skills they have to find their passions. What’s important to them and use those passions and talents to give back to the community,” said Meridith Rucker, the Director of Program Development at Bridge Builders. It wrapped up the summer with 800 participants ― the largest cohort it’s seen.
