DESCRIPTION:Join the Tennessee Coalition for Truth in Our Classrooms for a briefing and discussion on the new censorship laws that passed in the 113th Tennessee General Assembly in 2024\, and how educators\, students and community members have been affected and are responding. \nStella Yarbrough\, Legal Director of The ACLU of Tennessee\, will guide attendees in understanding the content and legal implications of the censorship bills that are impacting curriculum\, library access\, book banning\, divisive concepts in higher education\, and gender identity reporting.
